SUMMER RIDING CAMP

WBF riding camps are for riders of all levels, from riders who have never been on a horse to those that have been riding for years.

Our camp is Massachusetts certified, our counselors are fun, our trainers are Massachusetts licensed and our horses are amazing.

Facilities include 2 large indoor arenas, a 100×200 outdoor arena with jumper course, cross country schooling field, trails around our property and over 30 exceptional horses and ponies.

Camp Options

  • Summer Riders Day Camp is a full day, equestrian focused camp for ages 8-12. (8:30 – 4:30)
  • Half-day Summer Rider’s Camp (8:30 – 12:30)
  • Tiny Trotters Camp is a half day camp for little riders ages 4 1/2-7. (8:30 – 12:30)
  • Junior Farmers Camp is a half day camp offering farm activities and ponyrides ages 6-11. (8:30 – 12:30)

SUMMER RIDERS CAMP AGES 8 TO 12

REGISTRATION OPENS SOON

Full Day Camp Time:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30 all day.  Cost $675. 

Half Day Camp Time:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 12:30 half day.  Cost $475.

Spend Summer at WBF learning to ride or advancing your riding skills.

Summer Riders Camp is for beginner through advanced equestrian lovers. 

Group riding lessons, based on age/ability, take place in the morning with one of our Massachusetts licensed trainers. Mornings are also dedicated to learning and improving core horsemanship skills. 

Campers will actively participate in grooming, tacking, untacking, barn chores, fundamentals of equine care, facility care and much more, all based on skill level. After lunch on the farm, equine activities continue.

Afternoons will vary each day but will include working with our miniature horses, equine first aid, course walking, learning to wrap, driving with our miniature horses, stable management and many more age/level appropriate activities. Each week we will invite a guest speaker or two on popular equestrian topics such as: equine nutrition, veterinarian care, farrier services and more.

Summer Riders must be age 8 to 12 at  time of camp. WBF offers riding camp for beginners through advanced riders.

ASTM certified riding helmet, proper riding boots, and long pants are required for riding. Don’t own your own ~ we rent!

Tiny Trotters will begin to explore the wonderful world of ponies and farm life by learning grooming, tacking, handling, and care through hands on interaction with our ponies, barnyard animals and fun games.

TINY TROTTERS RIDING CAMP
Half Day Ages: 4 ½ TO 7

REGISTRATION OPENS SOON

Tiny Trotters half day campers must be age 4 ½ to 7 at the time of camp.
Half Day Camp Time: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 12:30 half day. Cost $475.

Tiny Trotters will begin to explore the wonderful world of ponies and farm life by learning grooming, tacking, handling, and care through hands on interaction with our ponies, barnyard animals, and fun games.

Tiny Trotters will also have a daily private riding lesson on one of our sweet ponies.

Riding helmet, riding boots, and long pants are required for riding. We rent helmets and boots.

 

Farmers will learn about and have fun with all of our barnyard animals. How to care for, handle, and have fun with ponies, llamas, alpacas, goats, chickens, donkeys, rabbits, and pigs.

JUNIOR FARMERS CAMP AGES 6 TO 11

Junior Farmers must be age 6 to 11 at the time of camp.

Time:  Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 12:30 1/2 day

Cost:  $375

Farmers will learn about and have fun with all of our barnyard animals. How to care for, handle, and have fun with ponies, llamas, alpacas, goats, chickens, donkeys, rabbits, and pigs.

Collecting farm fresh eggs to take home will be a highlight along with pony rides, wagon rides, driving with our miniature horses, and washing an animal or two.

There is no better way to spend your summer then cuddling with our animals all summer.
